Rowing is a major sport in New Zealand.Thousands of athletes participate at many levels from school competitions to national teams. For such a small country we have had a lot of worldwide success. We have World champions and Commonwealth and Olympic Game medalists dotted throughout our sporting history. And don't think of this in past tense either! 2010 WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
LAKE KARAPIRO Lake Karapiro is where the 2010 World Rowing Championships were successfully held. New facilities worked really well to make this a successful event for both competitors and spectators.
