If you are looking for New Zealand real estate there are many aspects you need to understand first.

You will find thousands of Real Estate listings for buying a house in NZ as well as house rentals.

TradeMe - NZ's most famous trading website. There is a large property section with properties for sale, house rentals, and some holiday rentals too.

RealEnz - New Zealand's official real estate website and the most comprehensive content of any real estate website in NZ - featuring over 119,000 listings for sale or rent.

Open2View - this site is renowned for its comprehensive photographs of the properties listed. Really helpful in getting a good starting overview of the property before you visit!

Plus there are obviously sites for the Real Estate Companies that operate in each region of the country. The easiest way to find these is to go a general web search that includes the name of the region, and a reference to Real Estate.
